About the Library
Named one of the top ten libraries in the country for three years by the HAPLR Index, The Henry Carter Hull Library offers the community a 85,000 piece collection in a comfortable 20,000 square foot modern setting.
The library enjoys multiple meeting rooms, a spacious children’s area, ample space for new releases and audio-visual materials on the first floor, and parking for 80. Upstairs, adult services are surrounded with large windows that allow natural light to flow through the building.
As well as providing Free Wireless Internet access, The Henry Carter Hull Library has fifteen computers offering Internet access and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher 2010) to patrons upstairs in the reference area with USB support to upload and download info to your personal data device. Color Printing is ten cents per page. Color printing on high resolution Business Center printer is 25 cents per page.
The Children’s Room has four PCs, with filtered Internet access, and an iPad. All offer access to educational CD-ROM games, and are connected to a color laserjet printer. In addition, there are two AWE early literacy computers with English and Spanish programs geared towards preschoolers.
Internet Access is available to everyone. Patrons under age 13 need parents/guardians to decide if they should have access to filtered or unfiltered Internet. Internet Permission forms may be printed out and brought in on your next visit.
