About Our Internet Access
The Internet is available to all library patrons.
HCH offers fourteen personal computers with web access in the upstairs reference area and teen room. You may also search our catalogs there. Two other computers that do not have an Internet connection offer applications including the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite®. Please sign-in at the upstairs reference desk before using a reference area computer. Computers are on a first-come basis and are time-limited. Printing is ten cents per page and they are color laserjet or inkjet printers.
The Children’s Room on the first floor has four PCs. Three have filtered Internet access offering web surfing security features to protect children from adult content. In addition, two early literacy stations geared towards preschoolers are available. Patrons under age 13 need parent/guardian approval for access to the Internet. Internet Permission Forms may be printed out and brought in on your next visit.
