	The inspiration for the Illustrated Book of Halloween, Vol. I, came from my wife, Debra. She decorates the living room for every Holiday. New Years Eve, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
	
	Her favorite, of course, is Halloween. She dresses as a witch on October 31st, cooks witch's stew for the neighbors, and makes sure the Trick-or-Treaters get special treats.
	
	After observing her numerous decorations of witches, skeletons, Jack-o-lanterns, rats, cats, and bats. I began to see images in my head. I needed a hobby anyway. I was tired of watching Mr. Commercial for twelves minutes of a half hour T.V. program. The result is The Illustrated Book of Halloween, Vol. I. Yes, I am a kitchen table artist.
	
	I hope it is a source of visual entertainment, an inspiration to craftsmen and women to create Halloween or seasonal artwork. It would be an excellent seasonal coffee tabletop book. Or you can take a page, frame it, and hang it on the wall.
	
	I hope you enjoy The Illustrated Book of Halloween, Vol. I as much as I did in its creation.
